ABOUT MADISON CRAWL
Recognized as Cleveland's Barrelhouse Boogie Kings, The Madison Crawl revives the raw, earthy, swingin sounds of boogie blues, and recreates an atmosphere reminiscent of the clubs, dance halls and juke joints of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Founded in 2003 by bassist Chris Stovicek, this band has spent years honing their chops in clubs, halls and ballrooms around Cleveland, Ohio. The Madison Crawl has developed a reputation for their jumpin rhythms, wailing jives, hip charm and retro style. Whether appearing in a pavilion arena, a concert hall or a corner pub these journeymen of jump deliver with reverent authenticity... the purity, simplicity and gritty soulfulness of the boogie woogie and swing traditions.
